Tutors of the Thales Circle<\/strong>\u00a0have been hosting students in mathematics, physics, chemistry, Hungarian and history for more than 30 years.
The founders of the Thales Circle are Lajos J\u00f3n\u00e1s (Uncle Lajos) and Mrs Lajos J\u00f3n\u00e1s (Aunt Gabi). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since 2022, Alexandra Szatm\u00e1ri, the daughter of Aunt Gabi, has also been working in the company. She graduated in 2024 with a degree in mathematics from ELTE, in addition to her 1998 degree in economics (Corvinus).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The way of teaching:<\/strong>
Preparation and tutoring takes place in small groups of two to three students every weekday afternoon, and on request on Saturday mornings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Mathematics <\/strong>and Hungarian grammar and literature <\/strong>preparatory secondary school in small groups of 3, tailored to the individual<\/strong>.
We will also be preparing for the Secondary School Vocabulary Test between 20 January and 15 March in all subjects: Hungarian, History, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, German, Computer Science\/Digital Culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Baccalaureate preparation<\/strong> in mathematics, Hungarian, physics, chemistry at middle<\/strong> and at the advanced level<\/strong> as well. We offer intermediate level preparation in history, biology and geography.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Tutoring<\/strong>, gap-filling, competition preparation:
-Mathematics 
-Physics 
-Chemistry 
-Hungarian grammar and literature
-Geography
-Biology
-English language
-German language
-Italian language<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In any combination of subjects, with teachers (small groups of 3, individually tailored).\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Times: on weekdays from 14:00-17:30 (2-2 lessons),\u00a0
Saturdays 8:45-11:00 or 11:00-13:15 (3-3 lessons).\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also offer classes during the autumn, winter and spring school holidays!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Opportunity to correct <\/strong>in the other subjects (your average is also very important, not just a good written one in January).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our hourly rate: 6000Ft per lesson (12.000Ft\/90 minutes, 18.000Ft\/135min).

Thales Circle has an excellent success rate, with 90% of students who apply for our admission tests getting into the first secondary school they apply to. We have a similar success rate in university admissions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
